Introducing the innovative concept of a “mirror exchange”, the FASE program is the first of its kind to further expand on the conviction that students best master a foreign language through an extended full-immersion stay abroad.

When placed in an environment that mirrors their own, both at school and at home, students are free to acclimate more easily, fully experience the new culture and focus on learning. The elimination of unnecessary barriers allows for accelerated learning.

FASE is committed to:
  • Place each Australian participant in a French family with a teen of similar age and interests
  • Enroll each Australian participant in the private school that the French student attends
  • Provide 24/7 support for all potential needs
  • Provide each participant with medical coverage, public liability insurance and repatriation
  • Provide every Australian educator accompanying at least 10 students with a free round trip travel (any additional expenses not included). Students from different schools may be grouped in order to achieve the 10-student minimum.

With over 30 years of experience in the student exchange program field, French industry leader JEV Langues (a non-profit organization founded in 1986 by educators) and FASE are proud to co-sponsor the
Franco-Australian Student Exchange (FASE) program.
